Judith A. Wright
Judith A. Wright has lived in the Fresno area for nearly thirty years. She started her career in banking, and then joined her husband, John, in the insurance business. In response to her experience and keen interest in estate planning, she attended San Joaquin College of Law. She is in the unique position to apply her experience in business to the legal profession.
You may have attended one of Judy’s estate planning classes at Fresno Adult School , a workshop on Ethical Wills and Estate Planning at your local church or an “EP101” presentation with her son and fellow law partner, Robert S. Wright.
Judy is a past president of San Joaquin Gifts Council and past board member of Leave A Legacy. She is a member of Wealth Counsel, National Association of Elder Law Attorneys, the Probate Section of the Fresno Bar Association and the California Bar Association. A summa cum laude from California State University Fresno with a degree in Anthropology, Judy and her husband, John, have two children and four grandchildren.
Robert S. Wright
Rob Wright grew up in the Fresno/Clovis area, graduating from Fresno State in 1989. After several years in the financial services field, his interest in estate, tax and inheritance planning led him to enter law school. In 1998 he became an attorney and since then he has practiced law exclusively in the area of estate planning and estate administration. His financial services background brings a unique perspective to his law practice.
Over the years, Rob has spoken to a wide variety of professional and consumer groups. He is a member of The Wealth Counsel and the Probate Sections of the Fresno Bar Association and the California Bar. He has achieved the designation Advanced Wealth-Strategist Planner, as conferred by the Esperti-Peterson Institute. In 2004, he completed the inaugural Institute for Dynamic Wealth Innovation, a year-long curriculum offered by Strategic Planning Concepts (now, InKnowVision) in Chicago, Illinois.
Rob obtained his undergraduate degree in liberal studies from Fresno State and his J.D. from San Joaquin College of Law. He now lives in Chowchilla, California with his wife Stefania and children, Jack and Claire.
Claire Chang
Claire J. Chang is a Southern California native and has called Fresno “home” since 2017. Claire joined Wright & Wright in 2023 and currently assists clients with creating estate plans, administering trusts, and navigating probate proceedings. She is passionate about providing tailored services and enjoys working with clients to execute a plan for a secure future.
Claire began her legal career in 2017. Prior to joining Wright & Wright, Claire was a litigation attorney who focused on jury trials, pre-trial motions, and post-judgment petitions. Thereafter, she served as general counsel to various California municipalities and school districts and provided legal guidance to foster public service goals.
Claire received her undergraduate degree in Journalism from California State University, Long Beach, and her Juris Doctor from Whittier Law School.
Kendall M. Woirhaye
Kendall M. Woirhaye joined Wright & Wright in 2024 as an Associate Attorney. Kendall appreciates the opportunity to assist clients in navigating estate planning, trust administration, and probate. Kendall utilizes her background in litigation and public service to provide client-centered services.
Prior to joining Wright & Wright, Kendall worked in civil litigation. Kendall earned her J.D. from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles. During law school, Kendall served as a Certified Law Student in the Juvenile Innocence and Fair Sentencing Clinic and a Co-President of the Women’s Law Association. Kendall earned her B.S. from California State University, Long Beach with honors. During undergraduate, Kendall was a delegate in Model United Nations and a member of Law Society. In her free time, Kendall enjoys spending time with loved ones, exploring Fresno County, and trying new recipes.
Marilena Taylor
Marilena Taylor was born and raised in Fresno. She has 20 years of experience in the title industry. Making a career change, she graduated from Paralegal Program with honors and is a member of the Fresno Paralegal Association. She joined the firm in 2012 and assists with Probate, Trust Administration and Estate Planning. She enjoys working closely with clients to title their assets properly. Marilena appreciates the personalization that is given to each client and the individual needs of each attorney.
Holland Gibson
Holland, a Fresno native, graduated from Bullard High in 2017, where she excelled both academically and in extracurriculars. She was a member of the varsity badminton team and actively involved in school events such as Bullard’s senior composition and fundraisers like Kid’s Day.
Driven by her passion for law, Holland pursued higher education in paralegal studies, earning her associate’s degree and Paralegal Certificate by December 2020. Soon after, she started her career at Wright & Wright as a Paralegal in February 2021.
Currently, Holland is pursuing her bachelor’s degree at California State University Fresno, with a graduation date set for December 2025.
Outside of work and studies, Holland treasures moments with loved ones, enjoys traveling, and cherishes playful moments with her dogs, Beignet and Biscotti.
Amy Blackburn
Amy was born in Quebec, Canada and mostly grew up in Alberta, Canada. She has been in Fresno since 2023. She graduated from Bow Valley college in 2021 with a Diploma in Justice Studies and furthered her education at Athabasca University in 2024 and graduated with a B.A. in Criminal Justice. Amy joined Wright & Wright in March of 2024 as a Receptionist and later became a Legal Secretary. In her free time, Amy enjoys crocheting, video games, sports, and puzzles.
